Weather Considerations for Natural Culture Stone Installation

Weather conditions have a significant impact on the success of natural culture stone installation. Planning work according to environmental conditions helps ensure proper bonding and long-term durability.

During hot weather, excessive heat can cause mortar to dry too quickly, reducing its bonding strength. Lightly dampening the substrate and protecting newly installed stone from direct sunlight can improve curing performance.

Cold weather presents different challenges. Freezing temperatures may prevent mortar from curing properly, leading to weaker adhesion. Installation should generally be avoided when temperatures are expected to fall below the manufacturer's recommended range.
