Factory Processing and Stone Fabrication Technology

Once raw stone blocks arrive at the factory, they undergo several fabrication stages to become finished construction materials.

Large gang saws or bridge saws cut the blocks into slabs or tiles with precise thicknesses. Surface processing then begins using polishing, honing, flaming, brushing, or split-face finishing equipment depending on the desired texture and application.

Advanced CNC machines and waterjet cutting systems allow factories to produce customized stone products including countertops, wall panels, paving stones, staircases, and decorative architectural pieces.

Quality control is extremely important throughout the fabrication process. Factories inspect stone color variation, dimensions, edge finishing, and structural defects before packaging.

Modern stone factories increasingly rely on automation and digital technology to improve production accuracy, reduce waste, and increase manufacturing efficiency for global export markets.
